A couple of weeks ago we climbed the 311 steps to the top of The Monument. I’m still getting to grips with the LC-A+ – hence the blurry staircase, or that could have just been my wobbly hands on the way down. Not for the claustrophobic – the staircase narrows as you reach the top, but the view is fantastic!

This is really quite a clever idea. Take a dreadful digital camera (the one on the iPhone), then make a little app to manipulate the images to look like Holga or Lomo shots. It works brilliantly.
CameraBag was originally £4.99, but it’s now only £1.79 in the App Store. I don’t know how long that’ll last for, but i’d snap it up (pardon the pun) while it’s on offer.
I could of course, manipulate my iPhone photographs in Photoshop to do the same thing, but quite frankly, I can’t be bothered. This app is a delight to use, and I like the pause as you wait to see how your photographs will turn out. So far, I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
